12/2	National and cultural identity	Possible special subject: Overcoming Prejudices in Society: - history of human rights movement: fighting against discrimination/racism in the USA-> comparison of Martin Luther King/ Malcolm X and their movements Film analysis: “Mississippi Burning” : Fight for freedom and justice against discrimination and racism
13/1	One World-Global Issues	Possible special subjects: Visions of the Future: - Science fiction stories/films :e.g. “The Guardian” by Ray Bradbury-> life and struggle for freedom in a totalitarian society and: Getting a Fair Deal: - Fight for just wages and human rights/ right to be organized in a trade union etc: - film analysis: “Bread and Roses” and “It’s a Free World” (Ken Loach)
