We  imaged a page in the life of Mother Teresa, by writing a story.

 

STORY

 

 

It all began when Dyami, a boy of 15 years, now orphan by the loss of parents in an accident at work, met Mother Teresa. The boy conditions were very serious because of the alcohol and the drugs that  had taken possession of him, since he was 11 years old. He was destroyed, drunk, hung on the sidewalk, crying in silence, when, between the traffic of the city and the confusion of the pubs, he fell asleep .The morning after Dyami saw in front of him a small woman with a shining smile.

The woman was looking at him carefully and the boy observed her, she held her hand and she invited him to get up. That woman was called Maria Teresa, she was just arrived from Albania to start her mission. After talking for a long time with the young man, Madre Teresa understood the reason of his terrible condition: the boy suffered for his parents’ death, he was very poor and he didn't have any house. Dyami lived in an old buddhist temple, helped by the Indian government in exchange for his services. The boy was dying, and Mother Teresa, who  respected all the religions, read  him the Coran, as wanted by Muslim tradition, and stayed awake all night.
 Few days later, incredibly, the fifteen years old young boy  wasn’t  risking his life anymore.
The boy began to talk with the woman and said, "While resting, I heard you were talking to someone, right?" The woman replied, "yes. It was a boy of your age who asked me for some advice" the boy said: "But what kind of adv ice?” The nun replied, "It was an advice that I’ll tell you right now.” 

 
After several days of treatment, Dyami got recovered and, amazed by the goodness and love coming from the young Albanian nun, persuaded some of his friends, who were forced to live on the streets, asking for alms and eating only leftovers from locals, to ask her for help; so they went to the old Buddhist temple, where Mother Teresa was carrying on  his work. The nun listened to their problem and their suffering, and she took them with her. The young women gread lots of different stories, she suffered and cried, but she helped them too. Soon, the temple was full of poor and also the first followers arrived and made a great work. Dyami brought here his cousin, a little boy sick for the leprosy who used to take drugs to bears the pain, and both 2 boys contributed to help the nuns. Not satisfed for so much work, that after all was a pleasure for her, Mother Teresa used to search for the poors how didn’t know about that temple. When winter came, Mother Teresa sent Dyami to search for people having no place to stay at night.

 

Helps came from all over the world and for her work, Mother Teresa received the Nobel Prize for Peace, and she destined the proceeds to all the poor people in the world. After some years, Dyami married a girl and he managed to toke all the lessons learned by Mother Teresa. The wedding took place in an original way and, dressing up simply clothes they turned the whole ceremony into an unforgettable moment. Mother Teresa wont on working with care to expande her shelter for poor people.
